These past years have been full of opportunities, most of which arose in the Netherlands. When my parents left the Netherlands, I decided to stay because my life was already here. Later on, I went abroad for a few years to study and work. I decided to return to the Netherlands because I missed having a certain lifestyle, a certain balance between my professional and personal life. I don’t regret any of my decisions.”
“The biggest reward is when a Dutch child thanks you for the lesson and they wish you a nice weekend. And there’s something else I like. Sometimes they come and ask me “Are you looking forward to the lesson? Because we are!” That’s a big deal for Dutch kids …”

It’s a place where I feel that I’ve come to do what I like. You can achieve that American Dream, although the Netherlands is not America. Meaning, you’re really able to do what you want, when you want, to even take a risk. It’s a place where my creativity is blossoming.
